Welcome to a theatre-video-concert-performance about our relationship to insects, each other and ourselves. In a huge greenhouse at aktör&vänner you will be invited to a contemplative and playful journey that leads inside, outside and to outer space. Your journey-mates will be a bunch of insects, thirsty for love. aktör&vänner has developed a theatre form where the space, the ideas and the feeling of togetherness are as important as the story of the performance. The audience gets all the senses activated by heat, smell, dampness and breeze. Zoo is an experimental and dazzling performance. At the same time Zoo is a warm adventure full of love. The audience is carefully led to its place inside a greenhouse full of perceptions. Inside the greenhouse one can only be. Listen. Observe. ZOO was played at aktör&vänner, Gothenburg, Sweden in the autumn of 2009 and has also been touring in Germany. At the moment, ZOO is also available for touring and guest performances.
